An innovative, multi-talented executive with a knack for building companies and successfully delivering a wide range of projects, Mr. Michel Hébert, like so many leaders in the Comium family, has had a career that has been global in scale. He has worked with Orascom Telecom, i2, Nortel and A.T. Kearney. His entrepreneurial gifts and deep understanding of telecommunications have resulted in many achievements, and he has led well-recognized telecom service providers and manufacturers across five continents, including the delivery of six telecom start-ups to successful operations. He joined Comium in 2008.

Comium Gambia GM: Amer Atwi

A rising star in the Comium constellation, the young and dynamic Mr. Amer Atwi became General Manager of Comium Gambia in September 2006, while still in his 20s. A graduate of the American University of Beirut with a degree in computer and communications engineering and an EMBA from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires, ESCP (France), Amer cut his telecom teeth with Lebanese mobile operator LibanCell before joining Comium. When he was appointed, he promised that Comium would “offer the most efficient and the highest-quality coverage the Gambia has ever experienced”, those words may have sounded like youthful overconfidence, but Amer s record to date has vindicated his self-belief, as Comium has thrived with modern, yet affordable telecom services. True to life, while under Amer’s stewardship, Comium leads while others follow.
